Data is pulled from Semantic Scholar API and Bibtext is generated through Paperpile’s DOI to Bibtext public API.

Part I: Setting up your database

First, you'll need to duplicate this database template to your own Notion. This is done via the 'Duplicate' button in the top right.

• Once you're done, make a note of the database ID. It's the 32 character random string that comes after https://www.notion.so/<username>/  and before ?v=in the URL.

You can also change styles and add new properties to your liking.

<aside> ⚠️ Important - Please do not alter any of the properties in the pre-made template, not the name, neither the type. If you want to change those, you would need to meddle with the code, that I may not be able to help you with. You can use your own database or add any of your own fields, given they follow the above requirement.

Part II: Creating a Notion integration

• Navigate to https://www.notion.so/my-integrations and click on the 'New integration' button.
• Fill in whatever identifying information you like, then submit the form. Copy the 'Internal Integration Token' that's on this page.
• Go back to the database you created and share it with your new integration. It should look like the below image, where 'paper-list-autofill' is whatever you named your integration in the form above.
